What is Day Training?

Day Training is a drop-off training program where your dog works with a professional trainer throughout the day and goes home each evening. This structure allows dogs to learn in a focused environment while maintaining their home routine and family bond.

What skills will my dog learn?

Skills depend on the program tier, but may include:

  • Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Heel, Place

  • Manners (jumping, impulse control, door greetings)

  • Confidence building & engagement

  • Public training & distraction proofing

  • Off-leash foundations (10 & 15 day programs)

  • Behavior modification or service dog foundations (15-day only)

What are your drop-off and pick-up times?

Drop-off is from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM, and pick-up is from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

How many field trips are included?

Every Day Train program includes public exposure and real-world practice:

  • 5-Day: 1–2 outings

  • 10-Day: 2–4 outings

  • 15-Day: 4–6 outings

Examples may include: pet-friendly stores, parks, neighborhood walks, patio environments, trails, or downtown areas, depending on suitability.

Will I receive updates?

Yes! Every dog receives a daily digital report card summarizing what was practiced, how they progressed, and what to reinforce at home. Photos and/or short videos may also be included when appropriate.

Is behavior modification included?

Yes — but only in the 15-Day program, which is required for dogs displaying:

  • Reactivity

  • Fear or anxiety behaviors

  • Resource guarding

  • Barking/lunging

  • Selective or shut-down behavior

  • Impulse control concerns

Dogs with human or dog aggression require an evaluation before acceptance.

Do I have homework as the owner?

Yes — consistency at home is essential. We will provide clear instructions and include a 45-minute go-home session so you learn everything your dog learned!

Will my dog be guaranteed fully trained?

Training success requires partnership and follow-through. We build and teach skills, proof behaviors in real life, and give you the tools, but dogs are not machines. Continued practice, boundaries, and reinforcement at home are crucial.
