Support a Future Service Dog Team
Every service dog starts as a puppy with potential.
Over the course of approximately two years, that puppy will learn advanced obedience, public access skills, confidence, neutrality, and specialized tasks that will one day help a person with a disability live more independently.
At Dinah & The Dogs, we are committed to producing highly trained service dogs that are capable of making a life-changing impact for their future handlers.
Developing a service dog requires a significant investment of time, resources, and expertise. Community sponsorships help offset the costs associated with acquiring, raising, training, and preparing a future service dog.

Is Dinah & The Dogs a nonprofit organization?
No. Dinah & The Dogs is a privately owned service dog training program based in Memphis, Tennessee. We train and place service dogs for individuals with disabilities throughout the United States.
What are sponsorship funds used for?
Every sponsorship helps shape the future of a service dog. Funds are used to support the many costs involved in raising and training a service dog, including puppy acquisition, veterinary care, food, training supplies, enrichment, public access training, socialization outings, health testing, and ongoing development. Your support helps reduce the cost of a fully trained service dog for the handler who will one day depend on that dog for greater independence, safety, and quality of life.
Is my sponsorship monthly?
No. Sponsorship levels listed above are one-time contributions unless otherwise noted.
Sponsors will receive updates throughout the training journey of the future service dog they helped support.
For those interested in ongoing support, monthly sponsorship options are also available.
Will my sponsorship go to a specific dog?
Unless otherwise stated, sponsorships support the development of future service dogs within our program. From time to time, we may feature a specific puppy or future service dog and invite sponsors to follow that dog's journey.
Will I receive updates?
Yes! All sponsors receive monthly updates that include photos, videos, training milestones, and behind-the-scenes looks at the development of our future service dogs.
Do sponsors have ownership rights to a dog?
No. Sponsorships do not confer ownership, breeding rights, training rights, placement rights, or decision-making authority regarding any dog within our program.
What happens if a dog is not suitable for service work?
Not every dog is ultimately suited for service work. If a dog is determined to be unsuitable for service work, decisions regarding that dog's future will be made based on the dog's welfare, temperament, and best interests. Sponsorship funds continue to support the overall development of future service dogs within our program.
Can businesses become sponsors?
Absolutely! We welcome partnerships with local businesses and organizations that wish to support the development of future service dogs. Business sponsors may be eligible for additional recognition opportunities depending on sponsorship level.
How can I become a sponsor?
Simply select a sponsorship level and complete the sponsorship form. Once enrolled, you'll begin receiving updates and can follow along as future service dogs progress through their training journey.
